DumpStar Services is a family-owned roll-off dumpster rental company based in San Tan Valley, Arizona, owned and operated by lifelong East Valley residents Ricardo "Rick" and Krystal Ramos. Founded in 2024, DumpStar rents 11-, 15-, 20-, and 25-yard roll-off dumpsters to homeowners, contractors, and property managers across San Tan Valley and the greater Phoenix Valley — with flat-rate pricing and most deliveries arriving same day or within 24 hours.

We started DumpStar for a simple reason: getting rid of stuff the right way shouldn't be confusing, overpriced, or buried in fine print. So we built a company that does the opposite — clean dumpsters, honest prices, and our own name on every rental.

Our Story

Born from a love of the Arizona outdoors

Rick and Krystal have spent their whole lives in the East Valley. When they're not working, they're out in it — camping, hiking, hunting, and running quads and side-by-sides across the open Arizona desert.

Over the years, they kept running into the same thing on their favorite trails and back roads: illegal dumping. Old mattresses, broken furniture, piles of construction debris left to bake in the sun on land that belongs to all of us. The more they saw it, the more one idea stuck:

When responsible disposal is genuinely easy and affordable, people choose it. Most folks aren't trying to trash the desert, they just don't have a simple, fair option.

So in early 2024, they built one. DumpStar Services exists to give the Phoenix Valley a straightforward way to get rid of waste the right way — and to help keep the outdoor spaces this family loves clean for the next person who pulls up to the trailhead.

That's not a marketing line for us. It's the reason the company exists.

The people behind DumpStar — your actual neighbors

DumpStar isn't run by a corporation or a private-equity rollup. It's Rick and Krystal, in San Tan Valley, answering the phone and putting their family name on every drop-off and pickup.

Ricardo "Rick" Ramos — Co-Founder & Owner-Operator

Before DumpStar, Rick spent years as a District Manager for Walgreens Pharmacy, responsible for multiple locations at once. In that role, accountability, customer experience, and patient safety weren't "nice to have" — they were the job. Getting the details right was the standard, every single day.

Rick left corporate life to build something for his own community, and he brought that standard with him. When you rent from DumpStar, you're working with someone who has spent a career being measured on whether the customer was actually taken care of, and who treats your project like it matters, because to him, it does.

Krystal Ramos — Co-Founder & Owner

Krystal co-founded and helps run DumpStar alongside Rick, and shares the same roots in the East Valley and the same love for the Arizona desert that started the whole company. She helps make sure every customer is treated the way the Ramos family would want to be treated, like a neighbor, not a ticket number. When you reach out to DumpStar, you're dealing with real owners who care how your project goes.
